MAKE IT in science
An e-manual providing rapid navigation through more
than 80 illustrated design projects. Each design project
uses standard, and wherever possible, recyclable material. The projects
cover the years 3 through to 6 and are intended to
complement the KS2 science curriculum in the context
of design technology. They cover Materials, Electricity, Magnetism,
Forces, Light, Sound. Children will learn how to make a space
shuttle from plastic bottles and a digeree doo
from pvc tubing and a paper mache volcano among many
other interesting activities. The site licence allows printing and photocopying.
All projects may also be viewed on interactive whiteboards.
